Dr. Nellie Gannon graduated from University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2018. After graduating, she completed a one year residency at Lee Specialty Clinic in Louisville, Kentucky that focused on treating individuals with disabilities. In 2019, she worked at a nonprofit for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She returned to work in Orland Park in 2020, before deciding to complete specialty training in pediatric dentistry. She completed her pediatric dental residency at Boston University. Through her residency and previous work history, she has gained experience in all phases of pediatric dentistry, including special needs dental care, various aspects of sedation, and complex pediatric dental cases. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. When she is not in the office, she enjoys running and is currently training for the Chicago Marathon. She is excited to return to work full-time at Orland Park Dentistry for Children and use her residency experience to enhance patient care.
