Meet The Dentists

Dr. Patricia Gannon


Dr. Patricia Gannon received her DDS from Loyola University Chicago College of Dental Surgery and her specialty training and Masters degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She is a former faculty member at University of Illinois-Chicago School of Dentistry.  Dr. Gannon has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Orland Park for over 30 years. During that time she has watched her patients grow from infants into adulthood, and return to her practice with children of their own. She has extensive experience in all phases of Pediatric Dentistry and is very comfortable treating patients with special needs. Her professional affiliations include: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and American Dental Association.




Dr. Nellie Gannon


Dr. Nellie Gannon graduated from University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2018.  After graduating, she completed a one year residency at Lee Specialty Clinic in Louisville, Kentucky that focused on treating individuals with disabilities.  In 2019, she worked at a nonprofit for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She returned to work in Orland Park in 2020, before deciding to complete specialty training in pediatric dentistry.  She completed her pediatric dental residency at Boston University. Through her residency and previous work history, she has gained experience in all phases of pediatric dentistry, including special needs dental care, various aspects of sedation, and complex pediatric dental cases.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. 

When she is not in the office, she enjoys running and is currently training for the Chicago Marathon.  She is excited to return to work full-time at Orland Park Dentistry for Children and use her residency experience to enhance patient care.
